so lovely. I almost felt like I was transported into a liminal space where the horrors of the California fires and trump's first week simply did not have any force. I am always in awe of the pilgrims and the leader, Douglas, in what they undergo in this demanding pilgrimage. DB, it was an auspicious choice to be in India during these fraught times in America. I know there is plenty of room in your heart to also hold what is happening here as well, but I am buoyed knowing that you and Rajanka friends are elsewhere! (just putting together that perhaps you have all been home for a while...seems like this was recorded a month ago. In any case, thanks so much for posting. I have been thinking about you all for weeks!)
Thank you for this recounting. This first experience at the temple was the perfect way to feel and understand what drew me to pilgrimage this year. The sounds, excitement, scents, people and energy now reside in my heart and this episode helps explain why it was (is?) such a profound experience.

"...funnel of human information." Love that image!
Thank you! This was a great Monday morning listen. I enjoyed experiencing your words by walking through my vivid memories.
And I like the idea of going to the other side of the world to experience the edge of the self again and again.
