As you described the role of the yogin or juror, it occurs to me that a key feature of this "right role" is ardor, rigor, and as you would say: "little by little, again and again." The boundaries you suggest in these roles are not complicated, and as you suggest, require no particular abilities or training. They require effort, and in our "immediate gratification , take a pill, send a tweet" culture, we simply must hope that the men and women who serve as jurors have what it takes to do the work you so eloquently describe in your podcast.
